Alton Towers day passes slashed to £34 in summer sale

Alton Towers has launched a major summer deal, reducing the cost of a day pass to £34.13, down from the £68 gate price. The offer is available until September 1 and includes access to over 40 rides and attractions.

Free entry for young children

Children under 90cm tall can enter the theme park free of charge. However, the Day Pass does not include entry to the Alton Towers Waterpark, and Ride Access Pass reservations must be made online in advance. Parking is not included but can be added during booking or purchased separately on the website.

Alternative family options

For those seeking a longer stay, Chessington World of Adventures Resort offers packages from £96 per person, including overnight accommodation, free breakfast, free parking, and one day's access to the theme park and zoo. Peppa Pig World provides toddler breaks from £177 per family, with an overnight stay, breakfast, and two days of park entry for the price of one.

Visitor feedback

Many guests have rated Alton Towers Resort five stars. One visitor commented: "We had a great trip. We got a few fast passes for CBeebies Land, which were well priced, but there was so much to do you don't have to get the fast passes." Another praised the cleanliness and friendly staff, while a third mentioned a complimentary upgrade to a treehouse. However, some noted that food and wait times could be improved, with one saying: "Pricey, but the rides were all ok and good."
