Aldi has announced a massive Easter giveaway, offering 40,000 packets of its popular Choceur Mini Chocolate Eggs to shoppers. The supermarket is distributing £5 vouchers, enough to purchase five bags of the eggs, which are priced at just 99p each.
The Choceur Mini Chocolate Eggs have been praised by customers and critics alike. A typical Cadbury Mini Egg packet retails at £2, making Aldi's version a 51% saving. Influencer @BeccaEatsEverything rated them 9/10 in a TikTok clip with over 740,000 views, saying they are 'incredible' and 'excellent'.
The giveaway follows Aldi's playful promotion last week, where a branded van offered free Choceur eggs to visitors at Cadbury World. Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, said: 'What better way to celebrate our popular Choceur Mini Chocolate Eggs than by doing a huge giveaway.'
Shoppers can enter the competition by emailing EggGiveaway@aldi.co.uk before Friday, March 27. Winners will receive a £5 voucher to claim their free chocolate treats.
