Aldi shoppers can look forward to another Special Buy update next week, as the budget supermarket has shared a glimpse of the new offers landing in the Middle Aisle. From Thursday, October 22, shoppers will be able to check out a variety of 'Winter Walkers' items.
Included in the range is a Crane Adults' Fitness Top for £8.99. The sweatshirt is designed to be worn on autumn and winter walks, such as in the park, when taking the dog out, or when hitting the gym.
Design and Features of the £9 Top
Aldi says: "Designed to move with you, our performance wear delivers comfort, confidence, and style through every workout". The sweatshirt is 30C machine washable.
The "regular fit" sweatshirt comes with matching joggers, also £8.99, in two colours: blue and brown. Sizes start at small and go up to large. The top comes with cuffed wrists, stitch detailing across the waistline and upper arms. It also features a crew neckline.
Comparison with John Lewis's £50 Sweatshirt
At a glance, the £9 top looks similar to John Lewis' £49.99 Superdry Essential Logo Sweatshirt in Sargasso Sea Blue. Like Aldi's version, the £50 sweatshirt comes with cuffed wrists and similar stitch detailing.

However, there are some differences between the two besides price. The John Lewis £50 version comes with an embroidered Superdry logo on the front and is designed as a classic lifestyle casual sweatshirt. For those who like the look of the Superdry sweatshirt but prefer to stick to a budget, the Lidl option could be a budget-friendly alternative.
Other Items in the Winter Walkers Range
Aldi shoppers will also be able to buy a Crane Adults' Running Jacket in black or white for £12.99. Aldi says: "Stay warm on your run with lightweight protection from the cold."
There will also be pairs of Crane Warm-Lined Neoprene Boots for £24.99. "Keep feet warm, dry and comfortable whatever the weather," the product description reads.
For shoppers with pets, they can get a Neon Dog Coat for £6.99. Aldi says: "Make gloomy days brighter with a burst of neon colour. Designed for comfort and visibility, it's an easy way to keep your dog looking and feeling great outdoors."
