Aldi urges parents to check receipts for £100 Mamia prize

Aldi has issued a reminder to parents that they can still enter its weekly Mamia New Parent Fund prize draw, which offers a £100 Aldi shopping voucher every week until January 2027.

The supermarket chain, which has more than 1,000 stores across the UK, relaunched the fund in January this year after receiving thousands of applications in its first year. The draw is described as "designed to help families with the cost of everyday baby essentials, including nappies and wipes".

How to enter the weekly prize draw

Parents can enter by emailing mamiaparentfund@aldi.co.uk with a receipt for a Mamia product bought at a UK Aldi store within the previous seven days. One winner is picked at random each week and receives a £100 voucher to spend in any store across the country.

Aldi says the reminder comes as its analysis suggests parents could save more than £550 in their baby's first year by choosing Mamia nappies, baby wipes and formula instead of leading branded equivalents. Estimated savings are based on a comparison with Aldi's Mamia range, including nappies, baby wipes and baby formula, against an average of leading branded equivalents.

Support for new parents

Julie Ashfield, chief commercial officer at Aldi UK, said: "We know there is a lot for parents to think about when welcoming a new baby, and the cost of everyday essentials, such as nappies and baby wipes, can quickly add up."

"Our Mamia New Parent Fund is one way we're helping with those costs. With a £100 voucher up for grabs every week, we want parents to know there's still time to apply. If you've bought a Mamia product in store recently, keep your receipt and enter for a chance to win."

The range includes nappies, wipes, baby food and toiletries. Full terms and conditions are available on Aldi's website.

Last week, Aldi reminded parents and carers that they can access free mental health support through information printed on packs of its Mamia baby wipes. PANDAS Foundation support details can be found on packs of Mamia Sensitive, Sensitive 6 Box and Extra Sensitive Baby Wipes, so advice is available in a discreet and familiar place. The message on packs highlights signs of perinatal mental illness, including low mood, anxiety and tearfulness, directing people to PANDAS' free services, which include bookable calls with trained volunteers, WhatsApp support, peer groups and online resources.
