Recent Pay Rise Announcements
In a related development, Aldi recently announced another pay increase for its staff, effective from April 1. Store assistants will see their hourly rates rise to £13.50 nationally and £14.88 within the M25 area. These rates will further increase to £14.47 and £15.20 respectively based on length of service, benefiting over 28,000 hourly-paid store workers. This marks the second pay rise for Aldi employees this year, following an earlier announcement in March 2026.
