Aldi's £19.99 Ceramic Tower Heater Costs 24p Per Hour to Run
Aldi Ceramic Tower Heater: £19.99, Runs for 24p an Hour

Aldi has introduced a Ceramic Tower Heater priced at £19.99, which the supermarket says can help keep homes warm without relying on central heating. The device, available in black or white, is sold in more than 1,100 stores across the UK while stocks last, and is only available for in-store collection.

The heater is compact and designed to fit easily into a room. Aldi describes it as offering "fast, efficient heating and an oscillating function that helps distribute warmth evenly around the room," with adjustable settings for personalised comfort, making it "ideal for everyday use during colder months."

Running Costs and Availability

According to the product details, the heater runs at a minimum of 900W, which means it costs roughly 24p per hour to operate continuously under the current energy price cap. Aldi advises against leaving the device turned on indefinitely for safety reasons.

Shoppers interested in the heater can find more information on the Aldi website, where they can also browse similar items and the supermarket's full catalogue of home goods and groceries.

Shopping Expert's Advice on Best Days

The announcement follows tips from shopping expert Jordon Cox, known as Couponkiduk on Instagram, about the best times to visit Aldi. Cox said: "Do not shop at Aldi and Lidl on these days, but first, the best days: Thursdays and Sundays. Why? Because those are the days middle aisles are restocked with items. That means you should never shop on a Wednesday or Saturday because all the good stuff is likely gone."

He added: "The best days to head shopping is either a Thursday or Sunday. That's because the Middle of Lidl & Aldi Specialbuys are always launched on these days. You'll have first dibs at the best discounts and limited-time items if you go then. Some Specialbuys only have a few items of stock per store - so they fly! Which means… if you head in on a Wednesday or Saturday - forget it. Most of the good stuff is gone. Hopefully this helps you grab a bargain!"
