Aldi £20 Beauty Advent Calendar 2026: New Lip Gloss Revealed

Aldi's 2026 12 Days of Lacura Beauty Advent Calendar includes a brand-new product never before available in stores: the 'Perfect Peach' Plumping Lip Gloss. Priced at £19.99, the calendar launches this Sunday, October 25.

A First Look at the 2026 Calendar

The Daily Record's Rachel Williams got an exclusive preview of the budget supermarket's festive countdown, which returns after last year's debut edition sold out quickly. The 12-day calendar is presented in red and gold packaging with individual compartments for each item.

Inside, shoppers will find 12 beauty products spanning skincare, makeup, and haircare. These include the Lacura Set & Forget Clear Brow Gel and Girl Gone Bad Mascara, which are known 'dupes' for Benefit products, as well as Hydrogel Eye Pads, an Acid + Pomegranate Face Mask, and a jade gua-sha.

New Launch and Value Compared

The standout addition is the 'Perfect Peach' Plumping Lip Gloss, described as keeping lips "glossy" and "hydrated" through winter. This marks a change from the 2025 calendar, which only featured previously available products.

At £19.99, the Aldi calendar is significantly cheaper than comparable 12-day offerings at Boots, where Clarins and Liz Earle calendars cost £98 and £79 respectively. Other items include a Leave-In Conditioner, Hair Repair Oil, a 100 percent silk scrunchie, a claw clip, the bestselling 'Vanilla' Lip Balm, and 'Pink Lace' Liquid Blush.

Positives and Minor Drawbacks

Williams praised the calendar for offering a chance to sample coveted Specialbuy products, noting the exclusive lip gloss as a highlight. She also appreciated the mix of categories, though she noted that some may find the miniature sizes a drawback.

One limitation is that Specialbuys are often limited and may sell out quickly, making it hard to repurchase favourite items. Williams suggested that adding skincare could further set the calendar apart from competitors, but concluded that at under £20 it remains "a top buy" for bargain hunters seeking a festive, luxurious feel without the high cost.
