Advent calendars have moved far beyond a chocolate behind a door, and this year's offerings for older kids and teens include everything from Lego and Pokemon to high-end beauty. Our round-up highlights 10 of the best calendars on the market for Christmas 2026, chosen after looking inside what each has to offer.
Funko Bitty Pop! Pokemon Countdown Calendar
The Pokemon Bitty Pop! Countdown Calendar is already proving hugely popular, featuring 10 Bitty Pop! collectibles including Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander and Bulbasaur. On some days you get stackable display cases rather than a character, but at the end of the 24 days you have a full tree-shaped display complete with a star on top.
The calendar also comes with three accessories, two magnetic cases and two keychain cases. It costs £25 and is available on the Funko website.
Lush Advent Calendar
Lush offers a whole hamper of treats this Christmas, with 25 days of fan favourites inside a bright green reusable basket. It features everything from North Pole shower gel and S'mores shower gel to a Silent Night bath bomb and Candy Cane reusable bar.
Ten gift exclusive treats are included, such as the Carrot Bath bath bomb, Celebrate bubble bar, Turmeric Latte dusting powder and Santa's Favourite body spray. The best seller Sticky Dates shower gel is also featured. The Lush Advent Calendar costs £210, with the 29½ High Street Advent Calendar featuring 25 bath treats available for £135.

The four full size products include Matte Revolution - Pillow Talk Medium, Hollywood Beauty Light Wand - Pillow Talk Original, Unreal Blush Healthy Glow Stick and Lip Cheat Contour Duo - Medium. The box itself, featuring drawers with star handles, can be used as a jewellery box afterwards. The calendar costs £170 from the Charlotte Tilbury website, or is also available at John Lewis and Space NK.
Revolution Advent Calendar
This year's Revolution calendar is packed with treats from lip oil and eyeliner to brow gel and body gems. The 24-day calendar features 10 full-size must-haves, eight minis and six beauty accessories.
Full size products include Revolution Satin Kiss Lip Liner Chauffeur Nude, Revolution Kohl Eyeliner Shimmer Nude, black Ultimate Lengthening Mascara and Cherry Kiss Lip Gloss. Among the six accessories are a mirror, face brush and powder puff. The final day features a full size eyeshadow Reloaded Palette - Holiday Special. The calendar is currently reduced from £50 to £37.50 at Boots.

The Lego Star Wars offering comes with 24 gifts including figures, mini figures, mini build vehicles and more. Figures include The Mandalorian, Moff Gideon and Grogu in Christmas jumpers, along with Carson Teva and Jawa minifigures, plus Pit Droid and IG-11 figures.
You also get Mudhorn, Bantha, Dewback and Blurrg figures, plus three tables with beskar, gifts and Moff Gideon's accessories, a weapons rack, Mandalorian gauntlet and Grogu's hoverpram. The seven minibuild vehicles include Mando's N-1 Starfighter, The Razor Crest, a toy speeder bike, Sandcrawler, Outland TIE Fighter, Imperial Light Cruiser and an X-wing in festive colours. The calendar is available on Amazon now for £22.95.
Superdrug 24 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar
Superdrug has its own brand 24 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar this Christmas, costing £54 and including £160 worth of products. It includes a wide range of beauty essentials and skincare favourites.
There are Superdrug own products inside, including its Vitamin E Skin Care range such as hydrating mist and nourishing night cream, and its Me+ range of skincare booster serums and sheet masks. Other big names include Aveeno, Olay and Haruharu Wonder. This one focuses on skincare rather than makeup.

The calendar costs £25 and is available on the Funko website.

You get 24 items in all, including 17 Lynx products - 13 of them full size - and seven gift items including socks, a gym towel, a grooming tin and even a charging cable with multiple ends. The calendar is currently reduced from £70 to £46.90 at Boots.

24 Days Remote Control Helicopter Model Advent Calendar
If your teen would like something a bit different - and has the patience to wait for a month while collecting the necessary parts - this remote control helicopter kit comes with all the parts and tools needed to make the aircraft, including a replacement rotor set. It's not the easiest thing to put together and some of the screws are really quite tiny, but it's rewarding once you finally get it up in the air. The calendar costs £49 and is available on the MenKind website.
