Jet2 Reminds Passengers to Bring Card on Board to Speed Up Service
Jet2: Bring a Card on Board to Avoid In-Flight Delays

Jet2 has reminded passengers to bring a physical card on board to help keep its onboard service running smoothly and avoid delays. In its “onboard service and conduct” section under payments, the airline states: “To make our service as efficient as possible, we only accept card payments.”

The airline urges travellers to bring a card, noting that contactless options like Apple Pay and Google Pay are also available. It adds: “So, please bring your physical card to use chip and PIN when needed.” This policy aims to minimize in-flight delays caused by cash transactions.

Strict Rules on Smoking and Alcohol

Jet2 also reminds passengers that only alcohol purchased on board may be consumed during the flight, and smoking—including e-cigarettes—is strictly prohibited. The airline warns: “In accordance with safety laws, smoking and the use of e-cigarettes is strictly prohibited on all flights. Please note that only alcoholic drinks purchased on board may be consumed during the flight. Jet2.com reserves the right to serve alcoholic drinks at our absolute discretion.”

Disruptive Behavior May Lead to Removal

The airline stresses that disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. The captain has the authority to refuse boarding or take action against anyone considered disruptive, disorderly, or likely to pose a risk. Jet2 adds: “Anyone falling foul of this provision shall be liable to indemnify us in full against any liability or loss we may suffer as a result. In addition, they may be prevented from flying with us in the future.”

These measures are designed to ensure a smooth and efficient journey for all passengers.
