Music superstar Robbie Williams has officially relocated to the Bahamas following the purchase of a new multi-million pound luxury mansion, significantly expanding his already vast property empire.
A New Caribbean Base and Business Shift
The 51-year-old singer has reportedly bought an eight-figure sum luxury home in the Caribbean archipelago, a move that has pushed the total value of his property portfolio to over £100 million. According to sources, Williams has made the change official by updating paperwork for three of his firms, which now list the Bahamas as his usual country of residence.
These companies include You're Not Famous LLP, which manages his concert profits and has turned over more than £90 million in the last two years, as well as Williams Godrich and RPW Holdings. The singer, along with his wife Ayda Field, 46, is said to plan splitting his time between his new Bahamian base, a home in Miami, and his mansion in London's Holland Park.
Expanding a Global Property Portfolio
This latest acquisition continues a period of significant property activity for the couple. Just last August, it was reported that Williams splashed out on a £30 million waterfront mansion in Miami. The lavish property boasts seven bedrooms, an 18-car garage, a wine cellar, and a private dock.
He reportedly spent an additional £4 million on furniture, adjustments, and renovations to perfect the family home, hiring Miami developer Manny Angelo Varas to add functional spaces, including a potential recording studio. This purchase followed the sale of his Los Angeles mansion in May last year for £51.6 million, netting a profit of around £12.3 million in just over two years.
Family Life Driving Location Decisions
Williams has been open about how his family influences his living arrangements. He and Ayda share four children: Teddy, 11, Charlie, nine, Coco, five, and Beau, three. The singer has previously described managing their schooling and his touring schedule as a complex "Rubik's Cube puzzle."
In 2014, he expressed a strong desire to base his family in the UK for their education, stating, "Things change when you're a dad." With the sale of his LA home last year, he appeared to be cutting long-term ties with Hollywood after 18 years. His only remaining UK property is his £17.5 million London home.
The star's relocation marks a new chapter, balancing business interests in a favourable tax jurisdiction with the lifestyle needs of his growing family across multiple international homes.
