Real Betis have become the latest club to express interest in Rangers midfielder Nicolas Raskin, according to reports in Spain. The 25-year-old Belgian international, currently on World Cup duty, has been linked with a move away from Ibrox following a strong season.
Raskin Transfer Race Heats Up
English Premier League newcomers Hull City have reportedly submitted a bid in the region of £12-14 million for Raskin. Serie A side Bologna have also initiated talks with Rangers over the playmaker, who is under contract until summer 2026.
Spanish sources claim that Real Betis sporting director Manu Fajardo and manager Manuel Pellegrini have identified Raskin as a potential replacement for Dani Ceballos, the veteran Spain international expected to leave this summer.
Butland-Pandur Swap Mooted
Rangers are reportedly willing to offer goalkeeper Jack Butland to Hull City in a straight swap for Croatian shot-stopper Ivor Pandur. According to reporter Alan Nixon, Hull manager Derek McInnes is open to the deal.
Pandur, 26, joined Hull from Fortuna Sittard two years ago and is valued at around £10 million. He has yet to earn a senior cap for Croatia but is part of their World Cup squad in the United States.
Pierce Charles Chase Intensifies
Ligue 1 side Strasbourg are reportedly leading the race to sign Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Pierce Charles. The 20-year-old Northern Ireland international, who has 12 senior caps, has been absent from Wednesday's pre-season training after their relegation to League One.
Rangers are among several clubs admirers of Charles, who has been given additional time off after international duty. With his contract entering its final 12 months, Wednesday are open to offers but have yet to receive any formal bids.
