YouTube Star to Represent UK at Eurovision 2026 (11.05.2026)

The Eurovision Song Contest is just days away, and this year a YouTube star is set to represent the United Kingdom. Sam Battle, better known as LOOKMUMNOCOMPUTER, will take the stage in Vienna with his track Eins, Zwei, Drei.

Who is LOOKMUMNOCOMPUTER?

Sam Battle, 37, is a social media personality who has amassed over 750,000 subscribers and 91 million views on YouTube. He is renowned for creating music using unconventional devices, most notably his Furby organ, a synthesiser built from 44 robotic toys.

Beyond social media, Sam has co-produced tracks for films such as A Streetcat Named Bob and the Netflix series Safe. He also hosts Junk Rock TV and released a video game titled Look Mum No Computer on Steam.

UK's Eurovision Entry

On Saturday, 16 May, Sam will perform Eins, Zwei, Drei, a song described as a fusion of his signature synths and electronic bass. The track is about escaping the monotony of the nine-to-five into a world of dreams and endless possibilities. It features playful lyrics and references to British culture, including the dessert 'roly poly with custard'.

Sam expressed his excitement: 'I am absolutely buzzing that the world can finally hear what we have created. Eins, Zwei, Drei was born during a session with other writers and producers on my synthesizer Kosmo, and I couldn't be prouder of it. I want people to dance, shout, sing along, and embrace the absurd jubilation.'

Reactions from Eurovision Icons

Presenters Graham Norton, Sara Cox, and Rylan Clark have shared their thoughts on the entry. Graham Norton said: 'This year's song is a real banger. Joyful and supremely catchy.' Sara Cox added: 'It's a rousing, foot-stomping anthem that's like the wild rebellious offspring of 80s new wave and a big fat dirty beat.' Rylan commented: 'It was the one that really got stuck in my head... I had to stop myself from singing it out loud.'

The contest marks the 70th edition of Eurovision, held at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna after Austria's win last year. The UK hopes to improve on recent results, including Sam Ryder's second place in 2022 and Mae Muller's second-to-last finish in 2023.
