Hundreds of thousands of Arsenal fans have taken to the streets of London to celebrate their team's first Premier League win in 22 years. The Gunners clinched the league crown after overcoming Manchester City's challenge, sparking wild scenes outside the Emirates Stadium.
Parade Details
Arsenal will hold a victory parade on the streets of London today. Four open-top buses will carry the players and the trophy, setting off at 2pm. The club's men's and women's teams will both participate, with the women's side displaying the FIFA Women's Champions Cup, which they won earlier this season.
The lead bus will feature the Premier League champions, followed by the men's team staff, then the women's team with the FIFA Women's Champions Cup.
Route Information
The parade is due to start at 2pm, with the route stretching for 9 kilometres. The buses will travel up Holloway Road, around Seven Sisters, through Blackstock Road onto Newington Green, then down Essex Road before turning right at Angel station onto Upper Street. Notably, the route does not pass by the Emirates Stadium.
Fans have been lining the streets of Islington since early morning, eagerly awaiting the procession. This marks the first time Arsenal have won the Premier League since 2004, ending a 22-year drought.
