Android Users May Qualify for $135M Google Settlement Payout
Android Users May Get $135M Google Settlement Payout (28.05.2026)

Android users who have owned a device since 2017 might be entitled to a portion of a $135 million settlement from Google. The payout stems from a class-action lawsuit accusing the tech giant of causing Android devices to transfer user data to Google without consent, even when idle. Google denies wrongdoing but agreed to settle.

Who Qualifies?

To be eligible, you must be a U.S. resident who used an Android phone with a cellular data plan at any time since November 12, 2017. Those who were part of a previous $350 million California settlement are excluded. Approximately 100 million people may qualify.

How to Claim

Eligible users should have received notice by mail or email. If unsure, call the settlement administrator at 1-844-655-4255. A final approval hearing is set for June 23, 2026. If approved, payments will be electronic, though the exact amount per person is not yet determined.
