A new product from the global bestselling beauty brand Trinny London has amassed more than 160 five-star reviews within just days of launching. Australian women are flocking to get their hands on the just-released Lip Reset Kit, which promises plumper, fuller-looking lips. While many other lip plumping products rely on derivatives of chilli to cause a temporary swelling of the lips, Sheer Joy uses portulaca pilosa extract, which doubles the skin's own hyaluronic acid production, alongside pro-collagen peptides for longer-term plumping and smoothing. A blend of avocado, babassu, papaya oil and squalane then lock in moisture. The oil-based texture delivers shine with none of the heavy stickiness of most lip glosses.
Trial Results
In a trial of 105 women over four weeks, 94 per cent agreed that Sheer Joy makes lips look instantly fuller, 95 per cent agreed the kit adds volume and definition, and 90 per cent said it made them feel more confident about their lips. A further trial of 208 women found that 92 per cent agreed the Line2Define Lip Liner had a smooth, creamy texture that did not skip or drag on application.

The Lip Reset Kit comes in 10 shade combinations, and the Trinny London team has made selecting the perfect colour combination easy with the website's Match2Me tool, advising on the best-suited shades for each customer's complexion, hair and eye colour. The colour range spans barely-there nudes, blush pinks, and deeper berry tones.
Members of the Daily Mail team trialled the Lip Reset Kit to see what the different combinations look like on different complexions. Creative Lead Vikki shared that she felt 'more confident' with the oil and liner on and said her lips appeared fuller, while Lifestyle writer Shania found the oil 'so moisturising'. Deputy Showbiz Editor Savanna loved the Thea and Fran colour combination, whilst Assistant News Editor Olivia praised how creamy the liner was and noted it stayed on longer than others she had tried in the past. There was also praise for how glossy, but not sticky, lips looked and felt, and a number of team members were pleasantly surprised after trying shade combinations they wouldn't normally go for.
