Shark has reduced the price of its UltraCyclone Pro Cordless Handheld Vacuum to £49.99, down from £69.99. The device, which has been described as “brilliant” by shoppers, is particularly popular for keeping car interiors clean.
The vacuum has already sold out on Shark's website but remains available on Amazon. Designed for hard-to-reach areas such as high surfaces and upholstery, it can also handle spills and messes without needing a full-size vacuum.
Features and performance
The cordless model comes with a crevice tool and a scrubbing brush, and Shark promises “powerful suction”. However, it has a short run time of up to 10 minutes on a full charge, which may limit its use around the home.
Other handheld vacuums have also been reduced in the Shark sale. The Shark WandVac Deluxe Pet Pro Cordless Handheld Vacuum is now £149.99, down from £199.99, and is designed for pet owners with “powerful pet hair pick-up on fabrics, upholstery and more”.
The lowest-priced handheld vacuum still in stock on Shark's website is the Shark UltraCyclone Pet Pro+ Cordless Handheld Vacuum at £79.99. It includes a dusting brush, crevice tool and motorised pet tool, and has an average rating of 4.6 out of five stars.
Shopper feedback
One shopper praised the UltraCyclone Pro: “Was looking for a small hand vacuum for use in addition to my normal Shark, however, this is more than just a small vacuum. It is easy to hold, light to carry and so powerful. I was able to vacuum a chair that my white cat had been laying on in seconds with minimal effort.”
Another said: “I’ve tried a few of the cheaper ones, and there is no comparison! I bought it to leave in the car, but it’s so good I’m tempted to get another one to keep in the house!”
A third reviewer commented: “I bought this to vacuum the dog hair out of my car door pockets, the only place the covers don't protect, for this job it worked well. I'm not sure how well it would perform on a more intensive task?”
