The OK! Beauty Box monthly subscription offers members a selection of skincare, body care, and makeup worth £95 for just £8.99 for the first box, with subsequent boxes priced at £15. Beauty writer Lucy Addicott tested this month's box and found it to be excellent value for money, with each product effectively costing £1.50.
The box features six sensory staples, four of which are full-sized, and members can pause, skip, or cancel their subscription at any time. The products arrive at the door, so there is no need to leave the house.
Standout Products and First Impressions
Lucy's first pick was the Gatineau Ceramide Smoothing Cream (£26), a brand she already knows from last year's advent calendar. She described the cream as smelling amazing, like stepping into a five-star spa, and noted it gave her dry complexion a much-needed boost. As it does not contain SPF, she prefers to use it in the evening.
Another favorite was the Disciple Ceraglide Lip Oil (£21), which features a rollerball applicator and a comforting, non-sticky formula. It contains cherry ceramides, giving it a fruity scent, though Lucy was not keen on the dark green and black packaging, which she felt looked a bit medicinal.
Cherry-Infused Makeup and Skincare Duo
The Beauty Crop's Oui Cherie Hydrating Gripping Makeup Primer (£10) also impressed. The formula applies red but turns clear within minutes, leaving a slightly tacky finish that keeps makeup in place all day. It contains cherry extract and hyaluronic acid, but does not smell like cherries, which Lucy appreciated.
Items four and five work together: the Gruum Eira Nourishing Face Oil (£17) and the Glow On 5th Beauty Gua Sha (£16). Lucy found the gua sha a lovely way to unwind before bed, and while she did not notice an immediate contouring effect, her skin felt brighter, more radiant, and smooth.
A Scent-Sational Finish and Advent Calendar
The box also includes a luxury sample size (worth £5) of Commodity Fragrances Milk+ in the scent Space Bold. Lucy, who prefers woodier perfumes, described it as warm, rich, sweet, and smoky, ideal for autumn and winter. A full-size bottle would cost £145, so this is a smart way to try it before committing.
OK! Beauty Box has also launched a 2026 advent calendar, curated by makeup artist Hannah Martin. Worth over £605, it retails for £109 and includes products from Bobbi Brown, bareMinerals, Kosas, and Weleda.
