Skincare balm I prefer to Elizabeth Arden is under £15 in deal

A skincare balm that one reviewer says she prefers to the iconic Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream is now available for under £15 in a limited-time sale. Melora's Restorative Manuka Balm, usually £19.99, has been reduced by 25 per cent to £14.99 as part of the brand's Mother's Day promotion.

The multi-purpose balm is formulated with high-grade 525+ New Zealand Manuka honey, known for its antibacterial and antioxidant properties. It also contains sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, and vitamin E, with no synthetic additives. The balm can be used on lips, cuticles, dry patches, and even as a hair-smoothing elixir.

Writing about the product, Bethan Shufflebotham said it has become a daily essential during the colder months for her sensitive and reactive skin. She praised its solid format, which avoids leaks, and its lack of sticky residue. She added that the balm provides immediate relief without the need for constant reapplication.

The Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant, a similar multi-use balm, costs £31. While effective, the reviewer noted she dislikes its fragrance and prefers Melora's scent and format.

Customer reviews on the Melora website are positive, with many noting improvements in skin hydration, eczema symptoms, and overall softness. One shopper described it as the 'best moisturiser for eczema' after years of searching. However, one customer was not keen on the smell, though acknowledged it leaves skin soft.

The sale is running until Mother's Day on March 15. The Melora Manuka Skincare range also includes a face wash and moisturiser, but the balm is the highlight of the deal.
