Lloyds Bank has clarified that second-year students are eligible for its £100 cash offer and £120 Deliveroo voucher deal, provided they meet the qualifying criteria. The clarification came after a customer asked on social media: "Are second year students eligible for the £100 and £120 Deliveroo offer for student account?"
Eligibility confirmed
Lloyds responded: "Yes, second-year students can be eligible for the £100 cash offer and Deliveroo vouchers, provided they meet the qualifying criteria."
The customer also asked which year of study to select when applying, as they would be in their second year in September. Lloyds advised: "If you're going into your second year in September, please select second year as your year of study when completing the application."
How to get the £100 cash bonus
To qualify for the £100 cash bonus, customers need to open or switch to a new Student Account and pay in at least £500 by October 30. This amount can be paid in multiple payments and can include a student loan. Once done, the £100 cash credit will be paid into the Student Account in November.
How to get the £120 in Deliveroo vouchers
The £20 Deliveroo vouchers are available monthly over a six-month period, from November to April. To qualify each month, customers must pay in the minimum £500 by October 30 and make 20 or more valid debit card transactions each month. For example, if the 20 qualifying transactions are made in November, the £20 voucher would be received in December. Vouchers must be used within 30 days.
Lloyds also directed customers to the full eligibility requirements and offer terms on its website.
