The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued new food product recalls, including crisps and chocolates sold at various retailers. Shoppers are being urged to check their kitchen cupboards, fridges, and freezers for affected items.
Home Bargains recall: Lay's crisps
ASR Solutions Ltd is recalling Lay's Sour Cream & Dill Crisps because they contain milk and wheat (gluten), which are not mentioned on the label. This poses a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk, wheat, or gluten, or with coeliac disease.
The affected product, sold in Home Bargains stores, has a pack size of 125g and includes all best-before dates up to and including 31 October 2026.
If you have bought this product, do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store for a full refund or contact support@home.bargains for further information.
Bon Bons Wholesale: chocolate recall
Bon Bons Wholesale Ltd is recalling various chocolate products because they contain milk and soya, which are not mentioned on the label. This makes them a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or soya.
Affected products include Medium Coloured Ladybird (best before 16 January 2028 and 01 March 2027), Small Red Ladybird (best before 21 January 2027 and 25 January 2027), Large Red Heart (best before 22 November 2027, 23 December 2027, and 26 December 2027), Mini Butterflies (best before 9 September 2027 and 21 March 2027), and Sports Car (best before 15 August 2027).

PepsiCo is recalling Doritos Chilli Heatwave because some packs contain milk, which is not mentioned on the label. Some packs may have been packed with the wrong product that contains milk, posing a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.
The affected products are Doritos Chilli Heatwave in 140g and 180g packs, both with batch code GBC 209 184C and best before 05 December 2026.
