Chesney Hawkes and East 17 join Parkdean holiday park weekends

Parkdean Resorts has announced eight Celebrity Weekenders this November, with stars including Chesney Hawkes and East 17 set to entertain guests at five holiday parks across the UK. The themed breaks promise a packed schedule of music events, with prices starting from £164 for three nights.

Boybands Vs Girlbands at Vauxhall Holiday Park

Three of the weekends will be held at Vauxhall Holiday Park in Great Yarmouth, which recently underwent a multi-million pound refurbishment. On November 6, the Boybands Vs Girlbands weekend will feature East 17 and Liberty X, along with Atomic Kitten's Kerry Katona and Natasha Hamilton, JLS star Oritsé Williams, S Club's Bradley, Damage, Honeyz, and tribute acts. Three-night stays start from £164.

More themed weekends and tribute acts

On November 13, the Celebrity Tribute weekend will welcome tributes to Elvis, Elton John, Cher, Freddie Mercury, Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, and Take That, with prices from £178. The 90s Vs 00s weekend from November 20, priced from £179, will feature Chesney Hawkes, D:Ream, and Betty Boo, with DJ sets from Marvin Humes, Chris Moyles, and Toby Anstis.

Other Celebrity Weekenders include The Hitman Pete Waterman headlining at Sandford Holiday Park in Dorset on November 13, with a Kylie theme, and a Celebrity Christmas weekend from November 27 featuring East 17, The Cheeky Girls, Marvin Humes, and Kerry Katona. Trecco Bay Holiday Park in Porthcawl will host Disco For Grown-Ups from November 13 with Steps' Claire Richards and Ian 'H' Watkins, Gareth Gates, and Bucks Fizz's Cheryl Baker and Jay Aston. Ty Mawr Holiday Park will host a 90s Weekender with Vernon Kay from November 20, and Cayton Bay Holiday Park in North Yorkshire will host an 80s Weekender the same weekend with The Real Thing, Black Lace, Thereza Bazar's Dollar, and Deniece Pearson Five Star.

Each weekend includes activities like silent discos, bottomless brunches, bingo, and fancy dress competitions, with line-ups varying by park. Parkdean Resorts notes that while children are welcome, limited entertainment is available for them, so the breaks are best suited to adults. Visitors to Vauxhall Holiday Park can also enjoy a low ropes course, Bear Grylls-themed escape rooms, and the Hat Tricks Sports Bar with interactive darts, shuffleboard, pool, and mini golf.

Recent guest reviews praised Vauxhall Holiday Park's refurbishment, cleanliness, and entertainment, with one saying: "Obviously, money has been spent to bring the park up to date. It was really clean. The staff were all very smiley and friendly. Food in restaurant was good. Drinks were reasonably priced. We enjoyed the entertainment. Would we go again? Absolutely!" Another noted: "Night time entertainment was excellent. Food was superb." One reviewer suggested the pool "could do with being twice the size." All eight breaks are available to book on the Parkdean Resorts website.
