Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour Lets Fans Vote on 2026 Stops
Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour: Fans Vote on 2026 Stops

For the first time ever, Brits will decide where the iconic Coca-Cola Christmas Truck takes its festive magic, with a public vote now open to choose towns for special visits during November and December.

At each confirmed Truck Tour stop, the red truck will arrive under a canopy of twinkling lights, transforming the destination into a winter wonderland. It will provide a backdrop for festive selfies, along with games and a chance to win merchandise.

Research Shows Demand for More Festive Towns

The vote launches as Coca-Cola-commissioned research found that 82% of Brits wish their local town felt more festive at Christmas. Christmas lights and decorations top the wish list, chosen by 75% of those surveyed, followed by Christmas markets or fairs at 65%.

Half of those polled (50%) say a lively and welcoming town-centre atmosphere makes a place feel Christmassy, highlighting the role of shared festive experiences. The study of 2,006 Brits also shows 47% want a Christmas market or fair, while 42% would like more free festive events.

Why People Want the Truck in Their Town

When choosing which town should receive a visit, the top reason is that it does not usually get major festive events (36%), closely followed by attracting more people to the town centre (35%). Shared festive experiences also connect people to places, with 77% agreeing they help people feel more connected to home.

Christmas markets are the tradition people would be saddest to lose, selected by 21%. For 49% of those surveyed, home is where they live now, while 26% still think of where they grew up as home. The findings also reveal 37% would wear a novelty Christmas jumper for a photo or tradition, while 59% say switching on Christmas lights before December is too early.

Celebrity Support and How to Vote

Christmas fan and social media star Joe Sugg voted for Corsham in west Wiltshire because he went to school there and many friends still live there. He is encouraging people across Great Britain to vote for a town they believe should be considered for a visit.

Joe said: "Christmas feels most special when there's something everyone can enjoy together. I'm excited people across Great Britain can vote for a town where the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck could add even more festive sparkle. Whether that means more things to do, a new reason for families and friends to come together, or simply an unforgettable dose of Christmas magic. Now is the time to get involved and vote for the town you'd most like the truck to visit."

Charlotte Butt, Senior Brand Manager at Coca-Cola Great Britain, said: "Allowing fans to vote for the next truck stop is all about spreading joy and inspiring the nation to celebrate the communities that help them to thrive. The Coca-Cola Christmas Truck has created memorable festive moments in communities across Great Britain for many years, and this year people can help choose where it goes next by voting for towns that need some extra festive cheer."

Votes can be cast by midnight on November 3.
