Aperol Spritz Launches Ready-to-Drink Cans Ahead of Festival Season

For the first time in its 107-year history, Aperol Spritz is now available in cans. The new Aperol Spritz TO GO cans, containing 250ml of the pre-mixed cocktail, have arrived in the UK just in time for summer. With an alcohol by volume (ABV) of five per cent, they are priced at a recommended retail price of £3.

The cans are being rolled out across grocery and convenience stores throughout April and May, according to the brand. They are designed for outdoor occasions such as picnics, barbecues, festivals, and park gatherings, particularly where glass is not permitted. A pre-mixed version has previously been available in glass bottles.

Andrea Neri, managing director of House of Aperitifs at Campari Group, said: “Aperol Spritz has become a symbol of contemporary social style, and this new ready-to-drink format opens the door to new moments and places while staying true to the spirit that has defined Aperol for over a century.” He added that the company is proud to bring the brand’s DNA and premium quality to the new format.
