Ann Summers has issued an urgent recall for its Remote Rotating Dildo due to a risk of injury. The product, which measures approximately 6.5 inches in length with rotating and vibrating mechanisms, can detach during use, posing a safety hazard.
The item was sold online and in stores between September 2025 and March 2026. Affected batches are identified by batch numbers 1225PSK and 3325PSK, with SKU 2008629 and barcode 5050890824779.
The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) stated that the product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005. Customers are advised to stop using the item immediately and return it to Ann Summers either in-store or via free postal return for a full refund, with no receipt required.
Ann Summers has also offered an exchange for an item of the same value or a 20% discount on the next purchase as compensation. The company emphasised that customer safety is its highest priority and that recalls like this are rare.
