Aldi is offering one Merseyside household the chance to win a year's worth of free groceries through its new Superfam Pass. The winning household will receive £800 worth of free shopping every month for 12 months, totalling £9,600.
What the Superfam Pass includes
The Superfam Pass allows the winner to shop for weekly essentials, fresh favourites and middle-aisle finds. The prize also includes a selection of Specialbuys tailored to the household, such as toys, activities, homeware and garden equipment, worth £400.
How to enter
Aldi is asking households in Merseyside to explain why they would make a brilliant first-ever Aldi Superfam. Entries can be made by emailing ALDISuperfam@aldi.co.uk with the family or household members' names, ages, location and why they deserve to be named Aldi's Superfam.

Deadline and terms
The deadline for entries is Monday September 21 at 11.59pm, and the winning household will be contacted by Monday October 5 2026. Terms and conditions are available on Aldi's website.
Aldi also confirmed that its opening hours will change for the August bank holiday. Stores in England and Wales will be open from 8am to 8pm on bank holiday Monday, August 31, while stores in Scotland and Northern Ireland will operate usual hours. Aldi advised that data from last year's August bank holiday weekend showed 8am-9am and 7pm-8pm were the quietest times to shop. Customers are encouraged to check local store hours on the Aldi website.
