£15 Million Lotto Winner Unaware of Fortune as Jackpot Goes Unclaimed
£15m Lotto jackpot unclaimed as winner misses email

A staggering £15 million National Lottery jackpot remains unclaimed, with the lucky winner completely unaware of their new multi-millionaire status.

The Search for the Mystery Millionaire

Lottery chiefs have launched a hunt to find the holder of a single winning ticket from the Lotto 'Must Be Won' draw on 15 November. The player perfectly matched all six main balls: 09, 11, 27, 44, 48 and 52.

Because the ticket was purchased online, the winner should have received both an email and a message in their National Lottery account. Officials are now making active attempts to contact the player, urging them to log in and claim their life-changing prize.

Time is Money: Don't Miss Out

Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at Allwyn, which operates The National Lottery, expressed his amazement. "Imagine not checking your National Lottery email notifications in recent weeks, perhaps thinking it will be a smaller win – and having no idea about this incredible sum of money with your name on it," he said.

He advised players from the 15 November draw to take a moment to check their accounts, suggesting they "take a seat first just in-case." While the winner has until 14 May 2026 to claim, the National Lottery's team is proactively working to ensure the money is secured.

A Season of Major Wins

This £15 million windfall is part of a remarkable autumn for big lottery wins. Recently, two EuroMillions jackpots were won just a week apart. A single UK ticketholder scooped £26 million on 3 October, followed by another who banked £25 million on 10 October.

Lotto has also seen significant action, with a £10 million jackpot winner coming forward after initially being missing, and a £2 million jackpot winner on 8 October.

Anyone who believes they may have the winning ticket for this or any other draw within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050 or email help@national-lottery.co.uk.
