Features and Performance
The device is designed to make creamy hot chocolates in less than five minutes, using milk or water and chocolate flakes. It offers hot and cold frothing settings, an automatic shut-off function and a cordless jug for easy pouring, with a non-stick coating for simpler cleaning.
It has a 240ml capacity for hot chocolate and can froth up to 115ml of milk, making it suitable for cappuccinos, iced coffees and frappés, as well as festive drinks.
Shopper Reviews
Shoppers at Currys have rated the Salter Chocolatier highly. One said: "Bought as a Christmas present for my son and he absolutely loves it. It warms and froths the milk really quickly, and the clear lid is a nice touch as you can watch it all whirling around. It does exactly the same job as much more expensive brands, so I would highly recommend it for any hot chocolate enthusiast."
A second reviewer said: "Bought it for my kids, who love it, so if they're happy then I'm happy! I use it for a frothy coffee, and it's getting used (on average) about three or four times a week, just for that."
A third added: "Very good little machine. I was looking for something that I could have a nice hot chocolate or a latte, but it wasn't worth getting a coffee machine. I found this; the reviews were good, the price was brilliant, and it's great."
Some feedback was less positive, with one shopper writing "Smaller than I expected," and another noting "The capacity of this frother was too small."
