Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly facing "financial pressure" as they settle into life back in the UK. The couple arrived in Britain last week with their two children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5.
New Home and School Details
The location of the family's new home remains unknown, although the Cotswolds have been reported as a possibility. Details of Archie and Lilibet's new school have also not been revealed for privacy reasons.
The couple are said to be renting a non-royal property, and it has also been reported that they have kept their nine-bedroom mansion in California. The couple also have a property in Portugal, where they visited with their children back in July.
Financial Strain from Moving
Speaking to Star magazine, a source shared that one aspect of their move particularly caused "financial pressure." The source added: "They spent a fortune to fly there by private jet because of the dogs."
It has been reported that Harry and Meghan's beloved rescues, Pula and Mia, are also with them in the UK. The source continued: "It was worth it to them because their dogs are part of the family, but it was another huge expense. Though that's nothing compared to the cost of adding another household to their monthly overhead."
Moving on Another Level
Speaking of moving as a process, the source added that it has been on "another level" for the couple and their children. "Moving is stressful for anyone," says the source. "But for Meghan and Harry, it's on another level."
