July Premium Bond Prizes: Two £1M Winners, 83 £100K Prizes

The National Savings and Investments (NS&I) has revealed the winners of the July 2026 Premium Bond draw, with two savers from Reading and Warwickshire each winning the £1 million jackpot. In total, over 6.2 million tax-free prizes worth more than £433 million were distributed.

Top Prize Winners

The first £1 million winner, holding bond number 250TP871786, is from Reading. They purchased the winning bond in July 2015 and hold £49,931 in their account. The second £1 million winner, bond number 217AV429216, is from Warwickshire, having purchased the bond in January 2014 with a total holding of £14,000.

Andrew Westhead, NS&I Retail Director, said: “They're not the only ones celebrating – ERNIE drew more than six million tax-free prizes this month, worth over £433 million in total. That’s around £57 million more than last month thanks to the increase in the prize fund rate for July. Could you be a prize winner this month? Prize Breakdown

In addition to the two £1 million prizes, the July draw includes 83 winners of £100,000, 165 winners of £50,000, and 331 winners of £25,000. The smallest prize of £25 has been awarded to 3,390,430 savers. The total value of prizes paid out this month is £433,757,200.

Greater Manchester Winners

Two savers from Greater Manchester each won £100,000. The first winner, with bond number 444XS766179, purchased the bond in March 2021 and holds the maximum £50,000. The second winner, bond number 86CY307612, purchased the bond in June 2003 and also holds the maximum £50,000.

Odds and Prize Rate

The current prize fund rate for Premium Bonds is 3.8%, and the odds of any individual £1 bond winning a prize are 22,000 to 1. Savers can check if they have won from Thursday, July 2, using the NS&I prize checker app or website.
