Barclays customers have just two weeks to secure a £175 bonus payment by switching to a new account. The offer, available to new customers who open a Barclays Bank Account or Premier Current Account, requires completion of several steps by 28 August 2025.
To qualify, applicants must open a sole account via the Barclays app, and for the Barclays Bank Account, sign up for Blue Rewards at a monthly fee of £5. A full switch through the Current Account Switch Service must be initiated, transferring at least two direct debits. Additionally, a deposit of at least £1,500 must be made within 31 days of account opening.
The £175 bonus will be credited within 28 days of meeting all criteria, provided the account remains open. The payment will appear as 'Switch Reward' on statements. Only one switch payment per individual is allowed.
Eligibility excludes those who opened a Barclays current account before 15 July 2025, previously received a switch offer, opened a joint account, live outside the UK, or are under 18. Barclays reserves the right to withdraw or amend the offer at any time.
