Liverpool have begun their summer transfer business under new manager Andoni Iraola, with two significant signings and a host of departures already confirmed. The club spent a record £448m last summer but finished fifth in the Premier League, leading to Arne Slot's dismissal and Iraola's appointment from Bournemouth.
New arrivals at Anfield
Jeremy Jacquet has completed his £60m move from Rennes, though he is recovering from a shoulder injury that ended his final Ligue 1 season early. The deal was agreed in January. Victor Munoz has joined from Osasuna for £34.5m and is currently on international duty with Spain at the World Cup.
Iraola is expected to receive further funds to strengthen the squad, with more transfers anticipated after the World Cup concludes.
Major exits confirmed
Three high-profile players left at the end of their contracts: Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, and Ibrahima Konate. Robertson has joined Tottenham Hotspur, while Konate has moved to Real Madrid. Salah's next club remains undecided as he focuses on the World Cup with Egypt.
Several other players have departed, including academy graduates and fringe squad members. Luca Stephenson moved to Bolton Wanderers for £700,000, and Carter Pinnington joined West Brom on a free transfer.
