Liverpool are closing in on a massive £200 million double transfer swoop, with reports that Yan Diomande has agreed personal terms and Bradley Barcola could follow. New manager Andoni Iraola is reshaping his squad following the departures of Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, and Ibrahima Konate.
Diomande agrees personal terms
According to Media Foot, Liverpool have struck personal terms with RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande. The 19-year-old Ivory Coast international is seen as the long-term successor to Mohamed Salah. Liverpool have informed Leipzig they are ready to table a bid worth up to £87 million, but the Bundesliga club is demanding a fee closer to £112 million. PSG have reportedly withdrawn from the race due to the high valuation.
Barcola boost
Bradley Barcola's future at Paris Saint-Germain is uncertain as contract negotiations have hit an impasse. The French international, contracted until 2028, is attracting interest from Liverpool and Arsenal, according to Fabrizio Romano. The 23-year-old winger could be available for £86 million. Liverpool already have Cody Gakpo, Rio Ngumoha, and new signing Victor Munoz as left-wing options, but Barcola's arrival would add depth and complement a potential Diomande deal.
Iraola's summer rebuild
Andoni Iraola is nearing three weeks into his tenure and has already secured his first signing in Victor Munoz. The Spanish international bolsters the Reds' attacking options. With further additions targeted in forward areas, Liverpool are set for a significant period of transition. The departures of Salah, Robertson, and Konate have already reshaped Iraola's squad, and the double deal could total around £200 million.
