A haunted Welsh pub, reputedly home to three ghosts and with historical ties to Owain Glyndŵr, has been listed for sale. The current Three Pigeons Inn in Graigfechan, Ruthin, dates back to 1777, though the site has served as a drovers' inn since the 12th century.
According to legend, the inn was a resting place for Owain Glyndŵr, the last native Prince of Wales. The pub's name remains a mystery, but many believe it refers to the ancient Celtic symbols for the 'Three Graces' – honesty, fidelity, and loyalty.
Such a rich history brings with it the customary ghosts – possibly three in this instance. Reports include sightings of an elderly gentleman seated in an armchair by the fireplace and the playful antics of a young teenager. One former landlord even brought in UK-Paranormal to conduct an investigation.
