Celtic transfer news: Kuhn available, Gbane update, Kyogo lifeline

Como are reportedly ready to offload Nicolas Kuhn just a year on from his money-spinning move from Celtic. After a prolific season in which he bagged 21 goals in all competitions for the Hoops, Serie A high-flyers Como forked out £18 million to bring the ex Bayern Munich kid to Lombardy last summer. But the move hasn't worked out with the wide man registering a single goal and assist in a disappointing debut campaign.

Kuhn 'available' as Como plan overhaul

After securing Champions League football last term, Cesc Fabregas is planning a major overhaul - with Gazzetta dello Sport claiming that 16 first-team players are 'at risk of being redundant, potentially available on loan or permanently', with Kuhn on the list. It is noted that after limited game time in his debut campaign for Como, it is felt that Kuhn 'no longer fits into the tactical plans' and is 'available'.

Celtic target Mory Gbane: Stade de Reims stance clear

The Hoops have been linked with Stade de Reims midfielder Mory Gbane - and the French club are clear in their stance. Foot Mercato report that the Ligue 2 club are in no rush to sell their key man - but are 'not opposed to the idea of a sale this summer if a substantial offer comes their way.' West Ham and Trabzonspor are also said to be eyeing a deal.

Kyogo Furuhashi earns lifeline at Birmingham City

A move to bring back Kyogo Furuhashi this summer has been floated after his January knock back - with former Birmingham City star Kevin Phillips explaining a move could be on if he failed to impress at the Blues early in the season. But it appears the striker has earned a career lifeline after he started pre-season with a double in the 3-1 win over Huddersfield. Delighted boss Chris Davies told Birmingham Live: 'We all know the fine margins just went against Kyogo last season in terms of the conversion of chances, then he was injured for a while. He's been working hard to try and improve his game, physically and everything else. I thought it was typical Kyogo today, he ran and pressed, but the good thing was he capped it off with his goals. One was a poacher's goal from in the six-yard box and the other was one that he executed technically quite well to get it away from the keeper. I'm pleased for Kyogo, it will definitely make him feel good.'

Marcelo Saracchi on Boca Juniors' list of players to offload

One player who Celtic could bring back urgently is Marcelo Saracchi - after Boca Juniors publicly named him on the list of players they want to offload. A club statement said: 'They have all been notified of the situation and are training separately from the main group.' Reports suggest Argentinian side Estudiantes de La Plata are also keen on bringing in the Uruguayan.
