Community Fibre broadband deal adds Norton 360 Premium for £7

Community Fibre has partnered with Norton to offer customers 'bank-grade' cyber security protection on up to 10 devices at a time, as digital threats and scams continue to rise.

Customers taking out a full fibre broadband deal with Community Fibre can add Norton 360 Premium for £7 a month – around 23p a day. The software is designed to protect devices from viruses, ransomware, spyware and malware, and includes 'bank-grade encryption' across up to 10 devices. It also monitors the dark web for signs that personal details have been compromised, and includes parental controls and SafeCam, which alerts users if someone attempts to access their computer's webcam.

Broadband speeds and deals on offer

Community Fibre claims to have London’s fastest full fibre network, with download speeds ranging from 35Mbps to 8.5Gbps. It is currently offering double download speeds on selected 24-month plans as part of a flash sale running until October 14.

Deals include 300Mbps for £19 a month, 1Gbps for £21 and 2Gbps for £25. Customers can also get 2Gbps Premium for £32 or 5Gbps for £43, with both packages including a 'next-gen' WiFi 7 router at no extra cost, reports the Express.

Contract terms and availability

Customers should note that monthly bills will go up by £3 each April during their contract term, after which bills will increase by £4. Community Fibre serves London and selected locations in the southeast, including parts of Surrey and Sussex.

Customers can use Community Fibre's postcode checker to verify their eligibility and the speeds available to them. For those unable to tap into the network, there are competing deals on offer at Sky, where the provider's fastest speeds have been slashed to their 'lowest price ever'. Sky's 900Mbps Full Fibre Gigafast is now just £28, while the 2.5Gbps Full Fibre Gigafast+ comes in at £32. Both Sky and Community Fibre undercut Virgin Media's new Gig2 Full Fibre broadband, where 2Gbps will cost consumers £49.99 per month.

Rising cyber threats and customer feedback

This comes as the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and Action Fraud reported over 55,000 instances of computer misuse in the year ending March 2025. These are cases where a computer has been used for illegal purposes and can include banking fraud, phishing scams and bogus delivery alerts. The data reveals a rise of 36% compared to the year ending March 2024, largely attributed to significant increases in social media and email hacking offences.

Alongside its partnership with Norton, Community Fibre has offered practical tips to help consumers protect themselves, such as how to identify secure websites. Brits can take three straightforward steps to protect themselves from cyber threats: never share passwords, use a password manager, and set up two-factor identification.

Thousands of Community Fibre customers have shared their experiences on Trustpilot, giving the provider a 4.7-star rating based on more than 96,000 reviews. One customer said: "This was the most seamless broadband installation I've ever had. The engineer texted me the day before with an arrival time and was punctual. He explained what the different bits of kit did and tested the WiFi speeds throughout the property. Excellent customer service and great broadband speed at a great price."

Another said: "Speeds are always solid, only had one interruption to service in the four years I've been a customer. Recently upgraded to the 2.5Gbps package and the engineer was efficient and friendly."

However, some reported issues with coverage in certain areas, as one customer noted: "Internet coverage was brilliant but now I have issues in certain areas of the house and sometimes when streaming TV in the evenings." While another five-star review says: "Always had a great experience with Community Fibre. Rapid internet and never goes down. After several years of no problems I had an issue where the cable had worn out. They sent an engineer out the next day and resolved the issue quickly."
