Four crews of firefighters are battling a fire in the trees at Meriden Adventure Park in Chelmsley Wood, Solihull, tonight. West Midlands Fire Service warned the public to avoid the area just before 8.30pm on August 1.
In a statement, West Midlands Fire Service wrote: "We have four crews in attendance at Meriden Park, Chelmsley Wood, Solihull where they have responded to a fire in the trees. Please avoid the area, where possible."
About Meriden Adventure Park
Meriden Adventure Playground is operated by an independent charity and features a large natural lake, natural woodland, a large children's play area, skate park and football pitch. It hosts community events throughout the year and is popular during school holidays.
