The drive to Newgale in Pembrokeshire has been hailed as the "most iconic" in Wales, praised for its "stunning" and "beautiful" views, and stirring nostalgic childhood memories for some.
Scenic Route to Newgale
As drivers reach the top of the hill and come around the bend, a "beautiful" and "amazing" view of the golden sands and pebble bank below becomes visible. The dramatic scenes take in the crashing waves of the sea and surrounding rugged terrain.
The popular village boasts an almost two-mile stretch of beach and is located in the parish of Roch, Pembrokeshire, in West Wales.
