A man who claims to be a time traveller from the year 2028 has shared TikTok videos of himself roaming the earth, saying he has spent 340 days alone in a post-apocalyptic world. Javier, who posts under the handle @unicosobreviviente, which translates to "Only Survivor", says he is living in the future and claims there are no humans left.
Videos show deserted cities across Spain
Javier says he is living in Spain, and many of his videos showcase deserted streets with untouched buildings and cars. He has amassed 6.6 million followers on TikTok, where he regularly posts similar videos depicting desolate scenes in Valencia.
He has since posted additional videos of the city, entirely devoid of any human activity. Interestingly, electricity and internet connection seem to still exist in the future, enabling him to share these videos.
Claims of 340 days in isolation
Now, Javier claims he remains alone, having spent a total of 340 days in complete isolation with the world at his disposal. The caption of one of his recent posts reads: "Day 340 alone in the world, I have toured cities and many more. What could be happening to me?".
In another video, he visited a museum, claiming it is "always full of people." In the eerie footage, Javier wanders around the museum, which appears perfectly preserved as no other human seems to be present. Since his initial post, Javier frequently shares updates about his "life in the future". He has also posted clips allegedly showing Barcelona, Madrid and Seville.
Further footage and pleas for help
Further footage reveals Javier guiding viewers on a stroll past blocks of flats and a children's playground, yet the area seems eerily deserted with not a soul in sight. Another video, seemingly captured by a drone, depicts him standing alone on a beach.
He insists that he is "stuck" in the future, frantically searching for a way back, and asserts his social media posts substantiate his claim of being the last remaining human after an apocalypse. In earlier videos, he pleads with his followers for help, saying: "I keep trying to find human life. I am starting to lose hope. Today I got something to eat. How long is this going to last? Mention in the comments who might be able to help me."
Several TikTok users have posed questions in an attempt to debunk Javier's claims. When probed about the continued availability of electricity to power lights and internet, he confessed he "wasn't sure", but hypothesised that "most likely there is a type of connection between 2021 and 2027."
