All traffic is being held on part of the M4 after an accident near Bridgend. The incident has occurred on the eastbound carriageway between junction 35 Pencoed and junction 34 Miskin.
Traffic cameras are showing heavy traffic and very poor driving conditions. A yellow Met Office weather warning for heavy rain is in place in the area.
Traffic Monitoring Reports
Traffic monitoring system Inrix says: "All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to accident on M4 Eastbound between J35 A473 Pencoed and J34 A4119 Miskin."
Drivers are advised to expect delays on this stretch of motorway while the incident is dealt with.
