Fred Olsen's 87-Night Amazon and Antarctica Cruise from £11,499

Fred Olsen has unveiled a new 87-night cruise, the Amazon and Antarctica Adventure, which will visit 28 ports across 17 countries and five continents. The voyage, aboard the Borealis, departs from Southampton on January 5, 2028, and is priced from £11,499 per person.

First Amazon Cruise in Nine Years

This marks the first time in nine years that Fred Olsen has offered a cruise to the Amazon, and it remains the only cruise line sailing from the UK to do so. The itinerary includes stops in the Canary Islands, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Brazil, Chile, and the Antarctic Peninsula, among others.

The cruise line highlights the wildlife opportunities, stating: "Time ashore brings you closer to lush rainforest, with toucans, butterflies, monkeys and pink river dolphins among the wildlife to look out for."
