TRNSMT Day Three: Glasgow to Enjoy 21C Sunshine

The Met Office has forecast a bright and warm final day for TRNSMT on Sunday, June 21, with temperatures reaching 21°C in Glasgow. After a rainy start on Friday, day two brought sunny spells, and day three is set to continue the trend.

Dry Day with Sunny Spells

According to the Met Office's Strathclyde forecast, "All parts will have a dry day with some long sunny spells through the day. Some cloud bubbling up by afternoon, mainly towards the south. Warm. Maximum temperature 21C."

Festival-goers heading to Glasgow Green can leave their rain ponchos at home, as no significant rainfall is expected during the day.

Evening Temperature Drop

Those staying for headliner Lewis Capaldi may want a jumper, as temperatures are set to drop to a minimum of 13°C by evening. The Met Office adds, "A dry evening with some sunny intervals. Some clear spells at first tonight but clouding over, perhaps a light shower. Minimum temperature 13C."

Week Ahead: Warm Start, Thundery Showers Later

Beyond TRNSMT, Glasgow can expect a warm start to the week with peaks of 23°C and a mix of cloud and sunshine. However, the Met Office outlook from Sunday to Thursday warns of potential thundery showers by Thursday evening: "A dry and very warm few days with some sunny spells, though more cloud over Argyll on Tuesday and Wednesday. Perhaps some thundery showers later on Thursday."
