The Met Office has delivered encouraging news for Manchester's weather this weekend, as the city gears up for a series of major events. With Parklife festival and Take That concerts drawing over 100,000 fans, the forecast promises sunny intervals and warm temperatures.
Parklife Festival at Heaton Park
Parklife returns to Heaton Park on Saturday and Sunday, featuring performances from Skepta, Zara Larsson, Calvin Harris, Nia Archives, and Chris Stussy. The Met Office predicts highs of 21°C on Saturday, with sunny intervals expected from 11am to 3pm and temperatures between 18-20°C. Sunshine is forecast until around 10pm, followed by a clear night with temperatures dipping to 16°C.
On Sunday, temperatures could reach 25°C, with sunny intervals from 11am to 3pm at 21-24°C, and 23-25°C between 1pm and 5pm. Evening temperatures will range from 21-24°C until 10pm, with another clear night expected.
Take That at Etihad Stadium
Take That's The Circus Live 2026 tour runs from Friday to Sunday at the Etihad Stadium. The weather is set to be favorable, with similar conditions to Parklife. Attendees are advised to dress for warm weather and bring sun protection, though forecasts can change.
