Forest Breakfast Spot Named Britain's Best by Food Critic

Food critic and YouTuber Gary Hanna, who has 493,000 subscribers, has declared Embers, a woodland restaurant near Shrewsbury, as serving Britain's best breakfast. After sampling three breakfasts cooked over open wood fires, he gave a resounding 10 out of 10 rating.

Hidden Gem in the Forest

Embers was founded in 2017 by Adam, known as 'Shropshire Lad' on YouTube. He left his job as a Youth and Community Worker in February 2022 to focus on cooking full-time. Adam later won Heston Blumenthal's 'Crazy Delicious' Netflix show and appeared as a critic on MasterChef: The Professionals.

Breakfast Review and Cost

Gary spent £55.50 on the Fisherman's Friend, Big Breakfast, Pork Hash, and three cups of tea. He said: "Guys I can't recommend this enough. I really can't recommend it enough." He added: "This is easy a 10 out of 10 for me... It's there as one of the best breakfasts... best breakfast I've ever had."
