The tempestuous winter conditions, however, eventually gave way to a notably dry spring. This serene period set the stage for a dramatic seasonal shift, priming the country for the sun-drenched months ahead.
A Summer of Sun and Sudden Storms
By June, the weather narrative had flipped entirely, with parts of the UK plunged into an intense heatwave.
