Ukrainian drones have left one of Russia's largest oil refineries burning, with other cities across the country also reportedly coming under attack, according to Ukrainian reports.
Drones are said to have hit the Ryazan Refinery, in the Russian city of Ryazan, in central Russia, overnight between Saturday and Sunday.
Attacks reported in Rostov Oblast
Air defences were also activated in Rostov Oblast's city of Bataysk, a suburb of the regional capital Rostov-on-Don, Ukrainian Telegram channel Exilenova Plus reported.
Rostov Oblast Governor Yuri Slyusar confirmed the attack, saying that three residential buildings were damaged in the city and a child was hospitalized. Russia has yet to confirm the attacks.
US envoys in Moscow
News of the attack came hours after US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow and "discussed substantive plans for next steps" in Moscow, the White House said.
Witkoff and Kushner are set to land in Kyiv on Sunday.
