Two people have died after a light aircraft crashed in Gwynedd, North Wales, on Friday 14 August. The aircraft was travelling from an airfield in England and failed to arrive at Caernarfon airport as scheduled.
Search and recovery
Shortly after midday, police received reports that the aircraft had not arrived. Air and ground searches were carried out, and the aircraft was found in a remote location near Trawsfynydd.
The two people on board were pronounced deceased at the scene, North Wales Police said.
