Three displays have been cancelled at the Southport Air Show due to technical issues and 'adverse weather conditions', organisers say. The cancelled displays include the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
Which displays are affected
The air show is being held today (Saturday, August 29), and tomorrow, with the Red Arrows scheduled to take to the sky at 3.30pm. The three displays cancelled are the RAF Tutor at 12.47pm, the AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers at 1.16pm, and 4pm RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
Organisers' statement
In a statement, the organisers said: "While the weather may bring a few challenges, there's still plenty to enjoy on the ground and in the sky, so thank you for your patience and have a great day at Southport Air Show."
