Two Spanish F-18 fighter jets were scrambled in the early hours of this morning after an "aerial target" was spotted heading towards the Romanian border.
The Ministry of National Defense said the aircraft from the Spanish Air and Space Forces were launched after the target was detected moving over Ukrainian territory, towards the border with Romania.
