An Israel-bound flydubai flight from Dubai made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday after one of the co-pilots allegedly stabbed his captain in an apparent attempt to crash the plane.
Passengers and crew intervene
Israeli passengers intervened to stop the attack, restraining the co-pilot, while a reserve crew was able to stabilise the plummeting plane and ultimately land it safely in Saudi Arabia.
Investigation underway
The motive remains unknown, as international teams open investigations into the incident.
