A car burst into flames at Silverburn Shopping Centre in Glasgow on Friday evening, with bystanders warned the vehicle could explode.

Emergency crews were alerted to the blaze at the city's Silverburn Shopping Centre at around 6pm on Friday, August 28, reports Glasgow Live.
Footage shows flames ripping out of the vehicle as smoke billows from the car, and a man can be heard directing people away from the blaze and warning the car could explode.
Response and outcome
One fire appliance was deployed to the scene and firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. It is believed that it affected a Vauxhall Corsa.
No injuries were reported and fire crews left the scene at around 6.46pm.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 6.02pm on Friday, August 28, to reports of a car on fire at Silverburn Shopping Centre.
“Operations Control mobilised one appliance to the scene, and firefighters extinguished the fire.
“Crews left at approximately 6.46pm after ensuring the area was made safe.”
Police Scotland has been approached for comment.
